Empowerment of 14 teenage youth from three different to create and produce anti-smoking films
This is a community chat for anyone interested in the NativeTruth Film Project, a project of the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board in collaboration with the Northwest Film Center. This is a one year project and it will train 14 youth from three Pacific Northwest tribes (Spokane Tribe, Yakama Indian Nation, Shoshone-Bannock Tribes) to shoot and edit anti-smoking films and P.S.A's. The Project is funded by the American Legacy Foundation and will give participating youth an opportunity to express to a national audience their voices about smoking in their homes and communities.
